Ordering

How do I place an Order?

All orders must be placed via the website. 

When should I order?

All orders must be placed 30 days in advance of pickup.

Do you have cakes and cupcakes I can purchase now?

No. I bake EVERYTHING to order. 

How do I pay?

I will send an invoice for your order via Square. Payment in Full is due upon recipient of invoice.  Payment secures your order. Failure to pay in a timely fashion will result in cancellation.  Payment arrangements for large orders are available. Deposits are Nonrefundable. NO EXCEPTIONS.

How do I get my order?

Your invoice will have all of your instructions for pickup. Please read and follow directions. Text when you will be 15 minutes later than your scheduled time.


Delivery is available in the Austin area for a fee. Please send delivery address for quote when ordering.

How are your baked good made?

I make everything by hand, one cake/order at a time. I use organic unbleached flour, organic raw sugar, oat milk, organic canola oil and extra virgin olive oil for all of my baked goods. Cakes are soy free, buttercream can be made soy free.


Allergens/Gluten-Free

Is gluten free available?

Yes. You can order Gluten Free Chocolate or Vanilla. My kitchen is not gluten-free. You acknowledge you understand there is cross contamination by placing an order.

Are there nuts in your baked goods?

No. I only add nuts or coconut when requested.

Can you accommodate special diets?

Currently I only accommodate vegan and gluten free.


Customization

What‘s my style?

My focus is on creating vintage style cakes and with their stacked boarders and overly ornate piping details. I love to create moody dark cakes as well as beautiful floral designs. I do not copy other artists work but love inspiration photos.

Is Fondant Vegan?

Yes, I use Satin Ice brand.

Why are some cake messages in fondant?

Short messages can be piped. Longe messages read better in fondant.

Why do you use fondant?

I use fondant when possible and budget allows because it’s edible and compostable. There are times when paper and plastic are quicker and budget friendly. 

Why are fondant decorations more expensive?

Fondant decorations are edible and compostable. My decorations are made from molds and hand formed. It is an artform. It takes time and precision to make individual pieces.

Can I get floral designs?

Yes. I use seasonal non toxic flowers. Other varieties of florals are available in artificial form.


Cake Care

How should I store my cake?

ALWAYS in the fridge until ready serve. 

How should I transport my cake?

FLAT. A floorboard or hatch space (only if it has access to A/C). NEVER place a cake in front of a  heat vent.

How do I prepare to serve my cake?

Remove all large fondant pieces, all flowers, and or all plastic or paper decorations. Carefully cut into cake. Remove all cake supports as you cut through the cake. 

How do I cut a large 3 layer round cake?

Cakes 6 Inches are larger should be cut into slabs vs wedges, especially if you are opting for the most servings. Here’s a video showing how to cut.

Tuesday-Saturday By Appointment  Afternoons and Evenings

Sunday and Monday By Appointment as Time Permits

Cakes stay fresh stay up to 5 days in the refrigerator.

Cakes can be frozen. Please include this in inquiry.

Please designate 2 (two) pickup dates and times when placing your order.

Be mindful of your pickup time. More than 15 minutes later may require a wait or reschedule.

Delivery

Delivery is available to Austin and the surrounding areas. Please inquire regarding fees.
